A boutique in Crystal Lake needed an updated look with durable floors. We installed 2,000 sq. ft. of luxury vinyl plank flooring throughout the sales floor and fitting areas. The wood-look LVP we used gives a high-end appearance while standing up to heavy shopper traffic and spills. Our team coordinated an overnight installation schedule to avoid interrupting the store’s business hours. The project was completed in 2 nights, and the boutique reopened with a fresh, modern look and a floor that will last for years under daily use. The store owners loved the result – the new flooring brightened the space and aligned perfectly with their brand image.

We partnered with a small healthcare clinic in Cary to replace their aging flooring. The clinic’s exam rooms and hallways had old sheet vinyl worn and hard to sanitize. Our solution was to install commercial sheet vinyl with heat-welded seams for a seamless, hygienic surface. We scheduled the project over a weekend, tearing out the old floors on Friday evening and completing the new vinyl installation by Sunday. By Monday morning, the clinic had a clean, durable, and water-resistant floor that met healthcare sanitation standards. The new flooring features an attractive, calming design, and because it covers the wall edges, there are no gaps or grout lines – a massive plus for infection control. The medical staff appreciated that we finished on time without disrupting their weekday patient schedule.

Artisan Floor Works was subcontracted by a general contractor to handle the flooring for a newly constructed two-story office building in Libertyville. This project showcased our ability to manage large-scale commercial installs on a tight timeline. We installed carpet tile in over 20 private offices and conference rooms, luxury vinyl plank in open work areas and corridors, and ceramic tile in the lobby and restrooms, totaling about 10,000 sq. ft. of flooring. Our team worked closely with the GC and other trades, staggering our installation phases to fit the construction schedule. Despite a few weather delays early in construction, we completed the flooring before the grand opening date, allowing other final touches to proceed on schedule. The result is a cohesive, professional environment – the carpet tiles add comfort and noise reduction in workspaces. In contrast, the LVP and tiles provide durability and easy maintenance in high-traffic zones. The building owner was impressed with our efficiency and the high-quality finish of every floor surface.
